Incongruities of Life
- Wal-Mart actually had Dove's Dark Chocolate in stock. Planned lawsuit has been put on hold....
- Eating at McDonald's, while reading an article entitled "30 lbs slimmer by Christmas."
- Finding they left the pickle out of the sandwich, which is GOOD, since I always take out the pickle, anyway. Takes this as a sign from Above. Wonders if the couple in the next booth thought it strange to see me pawing through my sandwich....
- Box in the unrefrigerated candy aisle of Wal-Mart...."Fresh Cranberries Covered in Dark Chocolate." Which is worse....the combination of cranberries and chocolate, or being suspicious of just how "fresh" those cranberries can be?
- The label on the Thanksgiving bird says, "young turkey." Something strikes me as wrong....but.....I guess "young" comes across better than "dead."

Guess I won't need to make pies after all.
Don't think you're getting out of the job you volunteered for!
(I just made little cut-outs of the extra dough, dampened down the edge, and moistened the back of each leaf as I put them on. It didn't really take that long...plus, it helped that the kids were watching a video :-)
You'd better watch out. You're starting to design while cooking, and we all know where that leads!
