Those crazy kids....
It was late at night. No, wait....early in the morning. 4:21 to be exact. Sensing that someone was outside our bedroom door, I stumbled in that general direction, grabbing my robe and attempting to put the correct appendages into the armholes.
*opens door*
"Mommy, my pilwo's wet."
*sigh*
If Trevor's pillow was indeed wet, it could well mean a leakage/flood of monumental proportions. But, his pull-up felt quite dry and I began to wonder if a rare phenomenon had occurred--what we in the mothering business refer to as "The Gap Theory."
Upon checking his bedding I found nothing of any damp consequence, so we proceeded down the stairway, Trevor sniffling all the way.
"Do you have a runny nose?"
"Yaaaasssss."
*Comes the dawn* Wet pillow...wet nose....looks like another case of church-induced sniffles. But at least he was dry where it "counts." :-)

Not much sleep before getting up at 5:41. It is the first of two test days, requiring an early wake-up and 50 minute drive with three kids.
After only making four wrong turns, we arrive with two minutes to spare, laughing and joking on the way in from the parking lot.
"Mommy, you're not going to act weird...."
*is shocked*
"Me? Don't worry. I can act perfectly normal."
*more cutting up*
"Mom-my...!"
"OK, OK."
*sigh*
Growing up is hard.
