What I learned today
**Wally World is not a store with that name, but a cute reference to Wal-Mart. Got this info from one of its newest employees, Slader. I think I should have known this....but maybe it is a term restricted to Texas.
**If you are eagerly seeking a picture of the loveliest songster in the world--the Western Meadowlark--you may get a chance while out on a walk....but just before the great moment a farmer will come down the lane and scare it off.
IF however, you are out digging a small flower bed, with two little kids watching and talking (with-out your camera, because let's face it.....who in their right MIND would place a nice piece of electronics alongside a rake and shovel in the wheelbarrow) the Meadowlark will alight on the top of a nearby pine, breaking into song, with perfect lighting, and stay there until 20 seconds before your son returns with your camera.
