This is why I can't grow sunflowers....
Lots and lotsa little green bugs.
Jason comes over to my desk and says, "C'mere...you gotta see this!"
And so I traipsed to the living room on my poor little stumpy, sore-from-mowing legs, with my pounding migraine and beheld a window, crawling with bugs trying to get to the light.
Now, whenever I've tried to grow sunflowers, these little buggers start chewing the petals before they are even unfurled, leaving nothing but unsightly large heads covered in a swarming green mass.
Hmmm, I hope nobody's eating, or anything.
But what other scientific questions can we ponder? I mean besides, "When is the grass gonna stop growing and WHEN will Trevor get over his sniffles?"
Well, for starters, there is this article concerning Monet's supposed portrayal of London smog. Personally, I think this concept is a bit of a stretch, but then, I also think the world is round.
Maybe the above-mentioned scientists should invest in a few of the pills described here. Then they could apply themselves to something really useful...like....oh I don't know, getting rid of little green bugs, or CURING THE COMMON COLD.
Nevermind. Iowa has had its own renowned people, like James A. Van Allen. I'd heard about the Van Allen belts of radiation, but didn't know their discoverer lived in this state.
I will say this.....I heartily agree with Mr. Van Allen that we should NOT be wasting money even thinking about a manned mission to Mars. I'd explain why, but I have to fold the laundry....
And that's all, for scientist Ma

If you would just think of this picture as a beautiful design, instead of the creepy crawly picture it represents, you would feel much better about it. Or maybe not.
Wow, I never even thought about all the scientific data that impressionist paintings could reveal.
And if you think that's amazing, just wait until they start doing studies on all the scientific data that impressionist paintings don't reveal!
You guys....
:-D
