Now let's explore a couple of key phrases in the above quotation:

"You and our fellow drivers in that age category belong to a safer class of drivers..."

I like that, I really do. Not only does it make me look good in front of the kids--yes, I showed it to Ethan, especially--but it is absolutely true.

However, I'm sorta confused with one little segment...

"...take more care behind the wheel."

I keep getting a mental picture of oxygen tanks, a hairdresser primping the driver from the back seat, and another person with a watering can asking, "are we feeling a little thirsty this morning?" while they drizzle the H2O over a gray head with silver/blue tints.

"P.S. A flip-open clock/calculator will be sent to you--absolutely free--just for comparing rates. There's no cost or obligation."

It's tempting, but I'm gonna hold out for the rototiller.

In other news, the warming weather and other occurrences have brought Ma back to her formerly cold desktop computer corner!

Yes, it's ALL MA, ALL THE TIME!

I feel just like Laura Ingalls in The Long Winter, "Pa, the Chinook is blowing!"

The kids are a little sad, since I'm not in the living room as much to keep tabs on their getting distracted from schoolwork. Sometimes they would try to engage me in some rousing discussion...yeah, like I'm gonna fall for that.

Love the real keyboard again, though I find myself searching for the little red mouse button in between letters "g" and "h."

I'll be able to listen to real music with REAL SPEAKERS :-D

More good news: some cage rattling went on down Texas way. Loren's brother Mark got in to see a doctor and they turned his pacemaker up higher. The increased heart rate makes him feel better! Also, he was back in the hospital for some tests but is supposed to get out today tomorrow.
