At least we still have electricity

The well pump is shot.

We just had it replaced in 2006, but the warranty only ran for one year, so....

:-(

Loren figures that since we need a new well pump, and the new heat pump will be using lotsa water, we may as well get a larger well pump to take care of all that beautiful H2O.

"Joe the Pumpers" are in the area and may be over later this morning. They'll yank the well and check out the pump.

This afternoon, "Joe the Heaters" are coming to turn on the largish heat pump, which basically cannot work without water, so....

It's possible that the inside-the-house pump bladder gave out, and that's what was making the well run so often, which may have worn out the down-in-the-ground well pump, prematurely.

That makes only three things, either broken or unworkable.

ARE WE HAVIN' FUN, YET?

Ethan proposed a day off from school, wherein he would gladly draw off and haul water from the water heaters in the basement, permitting the rest of us refined folks to flush the toilets.

Yeah. Nice try, Ethan :-D

Ma will surely be making a run into town for drinking water and disposable stuffs.

In the meantime: Can this family be fixed for Thanksgiving?
