Life in the Yard

When your heart needs healing, you can't go wrong by spending time (however brief) out in God's creation.

So Ma took a quick gander about the yard this morning, and this is what she saw:

A type of Canadian Rue Anenome (can't put my finger on the exact identity right this second) and one of my very favorite acquisitions from the roadside :-)


When grouped in larges bunches, they look like twinkling stars in the ditch.

A very simple but beautiful flower.

The Rugosa Rose is in bloom!


And here's the white version, with its masses of papery petals.


Another ditch rescue....Spiderwort.
They usually only bloom in the mornings, but are well worth the effort to see.

Also in progress, the robins are hatching! More pictures, later.
