This goes a long way.....

....towards erasing the rotten parts of the day

I'm gonna try and forget that I missed an easy bid on eBay due to the stupid misplacement of a decimal point.

And, I'll also endeavor to ignore the fact that I was just going to place five loaves of bread in the oven....when it suddenly dawned on me that I'd forgotten to put in the oil. You know, it's possible to knead the oil into the dough afterwards, but I don't necessarily recommend it. (it looks kinda weird, but tastes ok)

It was a day to make one wonder if Alzheimer's testing might not be appropriate....

HOWEVER, I did let the kids off some of their school today, so as to facilitate cleaning for Thanksgiving. We simply MUST impress Ardith and Sharon when they come. Or, at least not let them see how low we've sunk since they left.

By the way.....cleaning out from under the couches AND the cushions is an excellent way to discover bonanzas of pencils, Legos, and Kleenex. We plan to reuse the pencils and Legos.

Now, it is high time to engage in a more cheerful activity.

Like, watching the news.
