2-4 more inches, today :-)

We keep getting these little non-blizzardy fronts moving through, each dropping a few more inches of the soft fluffy stuff. Believe me, snow that more or less floats and doesn't come down sideways is a bit of a novelty, here in the country.

Noticing that most of my snow pictures have been coming out "bluish" I finally broke down and read through the camera manual. Well, part of it, anyway. I had no idea of some of the features available! I still have large gaps in my knowledge, but the vacant area is growing slightly smaller.

So, not promising better pictures, but...we'll see. The small drift above has already changed significantly in the last 30 minutes. And now, seeing that Loren is determined to go outside and work right at that spot....! Well, I must run out and preserve its beauty for posterity.

Pigeon note: concerning the three pigeons below....I saw that one in the middle and immediately was reminded of Darth Vader escaping in his little fighter at the end of episode 4 (which was the first one made)....um....am I the only one who sees this? Or is Loren right....and I AM warped?
