In keeping with the New Year....

.....and the penchant many folk have to do something admirable, like make resolutions or....or clean or something....

I would just like to announce that I have taken my Inbox, formerly stuffed with 276 assorted emails, and whittled it down to a tidy 73.

Oh, and get this.....since the dishwasher was REALLY falling behind in matters it is absolutely INCAPABLE of handling, I rolled up my sleeves and washed the following in the sink:

• five GLASS bread pans
  
• one crock pot used for a roast
  
• one roasting pan used for granola
  
• my one-and-only "Air Bake" pan encrusted with baked cheese
  
• many assorted pans and bowls that will not fit in the "weanie-machine"

Who says I can't blog and keep house at the same time?

If your January isn't starting out with this kinda snap and pizzazz, HAVE NO FEAR!

There are always amusing tidbits in the news to brighten the day...even in Iowa where apparently the sun only visits on rare occasions.

You may think the Supreme Court Justices are epitomes of sobriety, intellectually speaking. But I beg to differ :-) In fact, Justice Scalia is 19 times funnier than Justice Ginsburg. Who knew?

I certainly hope one of your New Year's resolutions doesn't include thievery from cars. At least not in this inept manner.

Finally, speaking from VAST experience, it never fails to astound me how a woman can give birth without knowing she is pregnant.

Thankfully, the kebab was safe.
