Favorite Leafless Tree

  
I LOVE this tree. Just enough curvy twistiness to be deliciously gnarly.

I know this isn't the best shot, but I had to snap one before spring hits in earnest. Don't know what type of tree it is, but should be easy enough as soon as I see a leaf....except, it won't be nearly so pretty, then.

I have several of these scoped out to shoot on the way down to Cedar Rapids. I just have to wait until a time when I am driving.....

.....and the lighting's right.

.....and it isn't raining.
