Unlike Mame.....
....we need a little summer.
The winds are howling and the thermometer hovers around 30 degrees, making a mockery of the near 70 temperature last Saturday. Chance of snow Wednesday and Thursday.
Time to pull out a warmish reminder of a morning walk last August. The weather was delightful, the Asters were blooming in the ditches, and bees were doing whatever it is that bees do.
*sigh*
[note to my Latin and Greek Roots students: this flower will come up in a lesson later this week....]

We had a severe thunderstorm lastnight and the power was out for about three hours in the morning, but now the weather has returned to the nice sunny, windy 60's of (only not so quite so nice as) Saterday. You gotta love Northern Indiana.

I DO think the weather is more volatile over your way....but we have more wind :-(
I was in kindergarten when the Palm Sunday tornadoes went through Dunlap and surrounding areas. I may have to post on that sometime.....
