It's been a mixed day

We arrived at the first library where....

Nolan discovered a new toy animal. Probably a beaver.

Other than that, the dryer is broken down, how-EVER, two out of three cycles still work on the washer.

*sniff*

I think something has died in the basement.....

UNFORTUNATELY, the second library was closed when we got there (who shuts down at three? fer cryin' out loud!) so we drove a half hour for nothing and had to bring those books home since they would have overwhelmed the book drop.

BUT, I got all my homeschool registration papers in to the local school and I now have two rolls of quarters just waiting to be deposited in the awful dryers at the town laundramat.

UT OH, the used transmission on Loren's zippy red car seems to be going out again.....

HOWEVER, Jason did not fall off the ladder while fixing the missing shingles from the three-year-old roofing job. Just one more side of the house to go....

But hey, it's Friday.
