Out Ioway

My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of Heaven and earth,
He will not let your foot slip-
He who watches over you will not slumber.

Naroshi the Weatherman

by Ali Gaugh Ree

Naroshi was a weatherman in search of a temperature.

And not just any incalescence.

No, it had to be just right: a tad arid without being overly calefactious.

Naroshi had pursued his temperate dream for several years now, and felt he was nearing the end of his clime. Soon, oh so temporally he would achieve his goal. His heated ambitions were oozing upward.

He was indeed, about to reach the summit of Mt. Achdüm, where the winsome waters flowed down from the fount of febricity.

Oh, to think of it! Oh to even think ! Oh, oh...

...OH.

What was this upon the path of pyrexia?

Naroshi looked down upon the ending trail to find a note, which read:

"Dearest Naroshi,

When you reach the top you will still be four degrees shy of your selected temperature. We thought you would like to know, and have a nice day."
