But first a little reportage.

The car report: it was bad spark plugs. They caused the engine to become flooded and no, it was not my fault. While they had it in the shop Loren had them put on one or two things that he was planning to do that would have been very awkward. Of course, they are not as cheap o' labor as Loren...

At least we have all the vehicles home and it only took 5 1/2 hours of the day.

Storm Report: we are smack in the middle of a major winter storm forecast for tomorrow.It's a little confusing since the dark purplish color could mean ice storm warning or hurricane warning, but I'm goin' out on a limb and guessing ICE STORM.

Hopefully it won't be all that bad, but just in case, I've...

-mixed and kneaded an extra batch of bread
-popped four chocolate chip banana bread loaves in the oven
-boiled 19 eggs
-started the laundry I'm responsible for
-eaten two pieces of cinnamon toast (lay off. it's been a hard week)

...in case the electricity goes out.

If you're well enough prepared, the worst may not happen.

Let's see, we've got...
-candles
-milk and cereal
-stuff for sandwiches

And I think we just may have enough batteries, judging by a previous post.
