Out Ioway

My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of Heaven and earth,
He will not let your foot slip-
He who watches over you will not slumber.

Bifocal Report: Part 2

Time: 12:47.

I bet I got that in only two tries.

Things are not so bad, as long as one doesn't mind blurriness here and there.

I survived my pre-luncheon treadmill ritual and I'm beginning to think all this head-moving will burn a few extra calories.
__________

In other news, THE FURNACE GUY is coming today for a consult. He and Loren will be tromping around the house, looking at the situation and making plans for the future.

I don't really mind. It's not like I have to do extraordinary cleaning, after all. Though we did scurry a bit before lunch just to make the setting somewhat less...mmmm, cluttered.

My main goal is that no one sees our bedroom. It has a lot of books and clothes but very little closet space. The entire room is basically a closet. But this too, shall be remedied some day.

The real dilemma is: What is appropriate attire for visits from furnace guys? Granted, I don't have to do much, but one hates to reflect unfavorably on the husband.

For example, right now I am wearing sweat pants and a T-shirt with a flannel "over" shirt. It's fairly tacky, I admit.

But when you go on the treadmill three times per day, once before each meal, changing six times can be rather annoying.

And we haven't even touched on the whole multiple shower issue. If I had to change AND take a shower each time I put on less scruffy clothes I would basically turn into a prune. Loren's a reasonable guy and I doubt if he has anything against prunes, in principle, but I'm fairly sure he doesn't wish to be married to one.

So I guess he's stuck with scruffy.

Happy Valentine's Day :-D
