Greenery Day

While this may sound like an extension of Earth Day on the 22nd, Greenery Day is really a celebration of Japanese Emperor Hirohito's birthday. Apparently, he loved plants.

...it turns my shoes green. We are also not eating meat this evening because...well, I'm saving the chicken for tomorrow.
