Big, Big Doin's Up At the Hoyt Estate

Because of necessary electrical work--involving a new box at our electric pole on the north side of the house--a whole NEW pole must be set in our front yard, with wires rerouted to comply with new standards.

They are here now, doing the work and you can be sure an ex-TENSIVE Picasa album will be up later, along with a few blog pictures with the rudiments.

Unfortunately, this requires the cutting of "Home Tree," one of the kids favorites, as well as several oft used branches from neighboring "Fork Tower" tree.

"ALAS AND ALACK!!" was the general response of los kiddos, but it cannot be helped.

Off to take more pictures, as well as bake something before they turn off the electricity...
