Time to Vote
Okay peoples...the moment has arrived!
This is your chance to vote 'before' or 'after' concerning Ma's haircut.
This first photo is not having washed my hair since before bed last night. For some reason it always looks halfways decent on the day I'm planning to get it cut...
...and that's after trimming my bangs a coupla weeks ago when I couldn't stand it any more.
Naturally, if I tried for this look on a Sunday morning, it would utterly fail. You have to trust me that it was looking shabby most of the time.
Now for the second photo....and as usual, it came out a leetle beet short, but as they say, it will grow out.
So I think it makes me look taller as WELL as younger :-) (you know that they say about older women and long hair)
The pictures a lame from the standpoint of having to hold my head up...can't have the turkey neck showing, after all. Oh...and I'll bet you never guessed I took these myself!
So now comes time to cast your ballots...First way? Second Way?
WAIT! Just to show you that we're not limited to merely two options, here's another potential vote grabber...
That was taken at my last physical--which is 3 months overdue, but who's counting--when I had my generic hearing test. I don't have those cool earphones on hand, but if that pic's the popular choice I'm certain I could scare up something on Ebay.
And there you have it.

Hi Becky,
Okay, first of all you are beautiful in both pictures. But my co-worker (Kathy) and I wholeheartedly agree that our vote is for number one and our reaseons are the ones you gave for number 2!
I'll bet that you will be glad for the shorter cut with summer here tomorrow and no A/C.

It's too bad I couldn't get the second picture to do the doo true justice, but I appreciate your contributions :-)
You're right, the 2nd one does have the younger look to it. But I think you should grow it out down below your shoulders, put it up in a pony tail, and then let us weigh that one in, too.
I really like the red-and-blue bulbous headband, myself.
Yes Wilson, the last one has a certain..."je ne sais quoi," about it.
And Tank... I used to have a pony tail and I'll tell you what I miss...being able to pull it out hole in the back of my baseball/farmer's hat when I mow...it really helps keep the hat in place. But I don't miss how long it takes to dry and the fussing I had to do with longer hair.
Thanks for all the comments, folks :-) Now I can go on to a different post and people won't have to look at those pictures...
