Yet More Updatage

Concerning Marlys, a blood clot was found in her lung and extracted. This should let the doctors feel comfortable with having her go home, perhaps as early as tomorrow.

In other news, we spent 6 1/2 hours at Pine Lake this afternoon (including travel) so the kids have had a fun day of water play while Ma rested her ever-so-slightly less corpulent self in the shade, sipping Diet Cherry Coke and listening to her favorite oldies station, KIOA (sounds like "Ioway" after the "K" :-)

Then we came home, wet but tired and happy. Because I am such a outstanding mom, I let the kids eat a meal involving all the food groups: ice cream sundaes. Naturally I required them to put some fruit on because every slacker meal deserves that little nutritional touch that makes it special.

Ma had a sensible salad.

So it was a great day, all around, with a Picasa album to follow....sometime.
