Kid Art and a Crazy Plant

Things are semi-normal, here at the big house. Ma's done with another week of cleaning the church...*checks off square on paper hanging from desk*....only 9 more to go! We are into the single digits, folks!

Loren is keeping a close eye on his "baby," the heat pump, in-between getting lots of rest.

There's a dusting of snow on the ground, but I don't wanna talk about that...

Time for a little "Arte de Nolan."

Completed last Sunday, at church.
He and Trevor got new little notebooks, and naturally, Nolan chose to draw on the last page, as noted by the "160" at the bottom, left corner.

Harvest season having ended, it is no surprise that farm machines still loom large in the minds of little boys. Here's a typical scenario...
...which Nolan gave to Trevor. Then the little bunny found out how to spell those all important words, "Can I have this for my birthday" and conveniently taped it to the stairway door, where I'll only see it about 30 times per day.

On a completely different tack, I have this philodendron in a hanging basket beside my desk. It is notable for several reason,

1) I haven't killed it, yet,
2) It actually looks decent, for the most part, and
3)....
...it has now put out adventitious roots.

I noticed the leaves were slipping behind the curtain, so I thought I'd just pull them back....except....the plant is sorta stuck to the wall.

Ummmm....should I be nervous?
