Tractor to the Rescue!
Ma was out busting her elbows for the second time this morning--not that I mind, since there are calories that need burning--when Dawson Ackerman drove up the road, on his way to clear out the church.
I heard the tractor slowing, slowing....and I thought--in between panting for breath--"Yep...if he asks whether I want a plow-out I am gonna say 'YES!'"
And so he got to work :-)

In no time at all he had just about blown through the "Tracy Cut" I'd been inching up towards....

Young lads o' the house were excited...aye !

Then he came up to the garage-front and significantly widened matters.

Ma watched from the stoop

Yessiree....looks like a clear path to die Straße!

The highest part of the drift comes up to Ma's shoulder...
...so ye olde elbowes are eternally grateful :-)
Thank you, Mr. Ackerman

We're so glad that you guys had someone come to your rescue! :D Those drifts look almost impossible to shovel out...in this case, who cares about the calories.
May the winds cease to blow for you all for a little while at least, so that all of Mr. Ackerman's beautiful work isn't undone. Take care!
