Off to Indiana

Well folks, the day has arrived for more leavage.

Kendra is off to start her junior year at ye olde stompinge groundes of los parentos.

I noticed the younger kids were dealing with their misery at my soon-to-be-departure by playing computer games.

Poor dears! They are so brave !

Oh sure, on the outside they may seem oblivious and content, but on the inside they are dealing with the burning ache derived by contemplating the gone-ness of Maman and the fact that they'll get to watch a movie every day.

I let each of the four youngest pick out their very own:

Trevor---Godzilla (to no one's surprise)
Nolan---Lion King
Ethan--Cheaper by the Dozen (old version...I think he just likes to see the overbearing attitude of the father)
Carolyn---Heidi (groans from the boys :-)

But wait, what's this? The kids are helping Kendra take her "stuff" out to the car!

Don't know how much Internet access I'll have over the next few days, though I imagine I can finagle some time on Sharon's laptop, as we'll be staying there the first night.

After dumping dropping Kendra off at Grace, I'll be winging my way to Goshen and Dunlap to visit with my brother and stay at Mom's house, where I'll get to see my sister.

Planning to hoof it home on Tuesday.
