Khrushchev in Iowa

Ma learned a bit of Iowa history, today. It involves Nikita Khrushchev and an Iowa farmer, Roswell Garst, known seed company executive and pioneer in the development of hybrid seed corn.

Here's a site that tells of this weekend's 50th anniversary commemoratory events. There's also a nice little history video, produced by Iowa students at the bottom of the page.
