The Mark Hoyt Update

 
Yesterday, the doctors did another test on his device, and this time Mark's heart responded properly (they did not put in the extra electrical coil, by the way). It is thought the device was in perfect working order before, but that Mark's heart did not respond quickly enough, or in the way expected.

ANYWAY, some medication changes have been made, and he was actually released from the hospital yesterday. However, because of the the uncertainty of things, Mark and wife Lauri Anne are staying in Dallas with her sister, who is an internist and has been camping out with them at the hospital to help.
