White-lined Sphinx moth, hanging around my Mountain Mint

Baby bunny, hangin' next to the porch

Goldfinch, hangin' at the bird feeder

Eastern Kingbird, hangin' on the barbed wire fence

Rugosa Rose, stuck on the bush

These were taken over the past two days. I'm a little frustrated with Blogger's new picture posting format, but I guess their idea of progress is making my life hard.

Anyway, these are some of the purdy things about the yard. The baby bunny is rather little and I had a fright the other morning when I went outside...I'd seen it earlier and went back to try to take its picture, only to discover a large area of scattered bunny fur over by the garage :-(

But it must have been another bunny. We still see this little guy on a regular basis.

Keep away, raccoons!
