Taking two vehicles to church, we split up as Loren took the kids home and I drove Sharon to Waterloo to catch her ride back to college. There was just enough time to stop at Arby's :-D The world has become so very civilized, now that fast food eateries take debit cards.
Wasted an hour in Goodwill. No, I take that back. I did discover several things that did not fit. Only several thousand items left to check. Their bathroom reeks, and they do NOT take a debit card for items under $5.00. I only hope the chosen sweater will not miss me. Too much. Other than that, the price is right:-)
FYI.....Super Wal-Marts have the SLOWEST CHECKOUT LINES IN THE WORLD. But, they do have Dove's Dark Chocolate.....so.....all is forgiven. (for the most part)
And anyway, my "Highland Christmas" CD hath charms to take away the shopping woes, the misty/foggy homeward drive, and the close encounter with a deer.

Sharon and Tammy (her ride) should be halfway there by now, arriving at elevenses. Please pray they will arrive safely, with no car trouble.
Tuesday she has her 20 page thesis paper due, as well as two other three pagers...if not that same day, soon after. Lotsa lotsa pressure.
Feel free to pray for that, too, if the Spirit leads. Tweet

A trucker relative recommended a small device -- serves as a whistle that animals can hear (to avoid encounters of the deer kind). Found it at Wal-Mart, in the automotive section. Might help.

I have heard of that :-)
I thought those devices where just deer callers. Saying something like....Here we come, see how close you can get to getting killed.
