Winter's First Eve

Three days.....three trips to the pharmacy. Nothing too critical, other than faulty memory and too many obligations converging into Christmas chaos.

Trips in the car mean more opportunities to snap a few pictures. This one wasn't terribly clear, due to ensuing darkness, but the "sharpen" option in Picasa makes it passable. I think the colors are pretty, anyhow.

I'm beginning to like trees better without their leaves :-)

Pox Watch

Having been exposed to chicken pox 17 days ago, we are just coming up to the time of possible eruption. I have three young ones that are running fevers and acting sickish...and I know it can't be the flu since we got shot up with vaccine. I predict pox to pop out in a day or two, but I could be wrong.

Half the others are sick with a mild cold, so I could only send three people to Christmas Caroling and birthday fellowship at church. Wouldn't you know it, both birthday boys are home, so no goodies for them, other than flavored Ibuprofen and and Zicam.

There are reasons VCR and DVD players were invented. Personally, I just wouldn't have sickness in the house, without them.

Ah, the joys of Christmas.....
