Behold, our nation's Capitol
Assembled solely out of toothpicks and reconstituted marshmallow sponge....
OK. It's really a 3-D puzzle I picked up at Goodwill for a coupla bucks. And the amazing part? NO PIECES MISSING!
It's been so hot, that the kids were mostly staying indoors. And though yesterday's weather had moderated, after finishing a 3 day panoramic puzzles, Carolyn and Melinda pulled out this new one just before lunch.
With the help of all pictured, (except Trevor, whose fingers can be seen lower left) it was completed during the afternoon. (we don't eat lunch until 2, so yes, it fit in the afternoon hours)
Pretty slow going at first, then when Kendra pitched in things really moved along. Nolan did some good work on it too, which helped keep him out of trouble :-)

That is amazing! I mean the part about no pieces missing.

What would be even more amazing is if it still has all the pieces within five years.
What am I thinking...I mean ONE year.
