I had a chocolate experience this past weekend. On the way to Ohio, I picked up a mere bit of turtle fudge at the South Bend Chocolate Company at the rest stop. It was very good.
It got even better at the hotel. The Sunday morning brunch featured a chocolate fountain with a selection of dippable treats from pretzel sticks to strawberries. My friend and I nearly missed out only noticing it as we were leaving. Needless to say we treated ourselves before further departure. I think I have discovered my new favorite treat: chocolate-dipped strawberries. My they were good (you didn't think I'd stop with just one...). By the way, I know you'll think this blasphemous, but my favorite is milk chocolate and this was the creamiest I remember ever having. It was sooo good!
Now that I think of it, I think I know why I've been having headaches this week. I usually try to avoid caffeine...no coke, etc. Never gave it a thought when I saw these delectables.
Only problem is that when you remove something such as caffine and sugar....you change the taste and texture.....I have yet to meet the creamy, yummy sugar free choclate...while some come close. At least one is only tempted to eat one or two...not multiples.

No blasphemy taken, Terry :-) Whether it be dark or milk....ALL lovers of chocolate stand united by the fraternal bonds of flavonoids and serotonin.
(of course, white chocolate is another matter, since it is SOOOooo not real chocolate)
Your experience sounds great to me.
Now, if they can make coke without caffeine, why not chocolate??
