I'm sorry....
.....but I just can't get that angsty over the election results.
I was a little disappointed last night, but I woke up this morning and walked out to get the mail. It was sunny and gorgeous. I even heard a bird singing. And it's supposed to get up to 71 today.
Apparently, the world has not come to an end, just because Democrats have a majority in the house. (at this point the senate is still in contention) And Ma says,
I mean, what's more important? Turnover of house leadership? Or me getting on the scales this morning and finding I'm two pounds lighter than yesterday?
As Tip O'Neil once said,
Oh....and one more thing....MANY OF THE NEWSCASTERS REALLY NEED TO GET SOME NEW MATERIAL. We are tired of the same old clichés and overused quotes.
Remember: It's not over till it's over, with every cloud comes a silver lining, and hey....I never promised you a rose garden.
So let's all just take a step back, pop some medicinal chocolate and chill out.....

Hopefully the Senate going to the Democratic Party won't make you more angsty, as I suspect that's the way it's going to turn out.
Personally, I'm of the opinion that this is actually a good thing, under my Gridlock Keeps Politicians From Passing Quite So Many Fundamentally Stupid Laws philosophy.
I'm somewhat less pleased about having both a Democratic Governor and Democratic control of the state legislature, but such is life.
Agreed. And just think....in two more years we have to go through this (and more), all---over---again.
Agreed. BUT just think....that year will be so much better....I will be voting.
