Derek and the Ma are heading on down to Iowa City, a scenic drive of just under two and a half hours.

It would be awfully nice if his heart converted on the way down, so we could make a call to the cath lab, turn around and drive back home.

Since this doesn't look likely, it is hoped the "shock de paddles" will coax him out of his atrial fibrillation.
