Life at Prairie Bridges Park

Needing to buy a couple of items at the local store, I grabbed my camera and decided to grab a bit of alone time in my favorite getaway. The 2 gig memory card I received for Christmas just--might--come in handy, heh, heh.

Not a lot of life in the park, to be sure, but plenty of light and angles.

 I think there used to be a covered bridge across this railroad track. When we first moved here in '94, my selective memory recalls a sign in Ackley that said, "Save our bridge." Half hidden off in the trees was a broken down structure that looked like a covered bridge. That disappeared soon after. My feeble attempts at research has turned up nothing so far. I should probably just ask a neighbor :-)
