The scene: The family is sitting at the kitchen table eating sandwiches. It is the second day of a power outage when 48-year-old Ma Hoyt suddenly remembers that her mother, a faithful blog reader, is probably wondering why there have been no new posts...
Ma: "I should really phone my mom and tell her what's happened."
(Sitting on her right, 5-year-old Trevor is completely flabbergasted at this new piece of information he has never considered...)
"You mean, YOU ACK-SHU-WY HAVE A MOM?!"

Not always :-)
It's a common occurrence with youngest children....they like to show off.
There are a few exceptions though, as I was also a youngest child :-D
