Done fer the Day

Everything was accomplished as listed previously.

Thanks to Kendra for mowing an hour during the heat of the day. (those roses look lovely in your cheeks, Dear :-)

Thanks too, to Carolyn and Ethan for picking dandelions out of the front yard.

After supper, Carolyn, Nolan and Trevor helped plant beans, beets, pumpkins, cucumbers and tomato seedlings.

Ma planted ornamental corn, ornamental gourds, ornamental pumpkins (are we sensing a theme, here?) and muskmelon. I might have planted other stuff but it's so hard to tell in the dark...I guess we'll find out in a few weeks.

Also, it is indeed possible to finish mowing from 9-9:30 p.m. if the night is clear and the section you're completing is on the western part of the lawn.

And it didn't hurt to have Venus--or whatever bright planet that was--in the sky.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure I burned off this brownie I'm eating a coupla days ago.

Now, methinks someone needs a nice hot bath...
