Outrageous!

Yes, they are coming out of the woodwork now and they are hungry little beggers.

At one time I counted NINE GOLDFINCHES on the feeders, but here there are "only" seven.

The kids figure there are 5 pairs hanging about (see, I haven't been homeschooling for nothing...) and are hoping several will nest in our trees.

{11:55 update: the children saw 11 at once, 8 males and 3 females not long ago}

I may have to contact the bank concerning a loan for finch food.

Also outrageous, this story. Now, I don't like to share sad items but really, this is quite ridiculous.
