Morning Gold

I thought someone had been hurt when I heard Ethan practically yelling from the living room...
...but WOW, it was worth it :-)

A beauteous male goldfinch was checking out the avian feeding station.


This shot's a little blurry, but interesting because he was flicking off a seed hull.


I'd gone back to my computer and was happily downloading pictures when the cry came to my ears, "There's two of them!"



And then there were three!
Zowie! It's a veritable goldfinch bonanza :-D

Who could look at this gorgeous example of God's creation and not feel happy?
