Birthday Fellowship
Every month our church has a birthday fellowship after one of the Wednesday night prayer meetings.
This is to honor birthdays and anniversaries within the fellowship and on that night every family brings cookies, cakes or other treatable goodies.
Anyone who would dare to notice that more warm bodies seem to show up on this night is simply cold, calculated, jaded and cynical. (I could have come up with more predicate adjectives were I not such a warm, optimistic and trusting individual)
But before the foodish festivities began, I took a picture of Nolan and Trevor with the 10 point buck they brought down last deer season.
Oh wait....my mistake. This mighty stag was actually apprehended by a man in our church, Steve Bell, on his first hunting party. I could have that last fact wrong, but I try not to let pesky details get in the way of out-and-out jealousy.
These next three shots fall into "The Cone Series."
Trevor demonstrates five-year-old multi-tasking skills by eating an ice cone and doing the Spock-eyebrow thing.

Here we witness unbridled ice cream exuberance as well as imagine Trevor with facial hair.

After a decorous older sister hands him a napkin, Trevor delicately dabs away the signs of snack imprudence.

What a bunny :-)
