Whew

Is it ever great to be clean again. Well, everything except for the right hand. I had to scrape wet clinging grass off the bottom of the mower every so often.

Just over half the lawn is mowed and it took for-ever since it was sooooo looonnngg. (think whale talk...."Hoooowwwww arrrrrrr yeeeeooooouuuuuuuu.." sorry, the kids were watching Nemo on the way down to Texas)

Cooking up the rice for supper allows just the right amount of time for a lovely hot bath. You can also bake brownies during this same period.

And if you've had the foresight to start a VHS of the Chipmunks WHILE you're mixing up the brownies, you can eat the "leftover" batter all by your self :-D

Honey, you don't get to be 48 and have ten kids without learning a thing or two about self-indulgent stolen moments.

Set-up is everything.

Excuse me...it's time to get brownies out of the oven...
