Greetings...
...from the Hoyt living room.
With minimal trouble Ma was able to release her laptop from it's portal bonds and it now sits with me on the couch, burning a hole in my left leg.
But at least my hands and feet aren't numb!
I've found the best way to save all your opened tabs is to just yank that baby off the mount, that way Firefox asks you the magic question, "Your last session ended unexpectedly. Do you wish to restart the session?"
"Of course!" I cheerfully answer, not realizing that:
a)I hadn't inserted my wireless card, and
b)I had 40 tabs to restart
It's hard to explain WHY I have that many tabs open. Perhaps I enjoy the availability of options, plus there's always the answer a terribly famous person once gave as to why he did something incredibly stupid..."Because I can."
It's not my fault it takes me a long time to research stuff. How can one possibly be expected to check on the composer, lyricist and and arranger of a musical piece without having three separate tabs? And I can't be obliged to close all of my YouTube opera links, fer cryin' out loud! (by the way, reopening 3 or more YouTube pieces at the same time gives a whole new meaning to the term, 'polytonality')
In other news, Iowa awaits another "little storm." What as recently as yesterday morning was described as a 30% chance of very light snow, now could turn into 4 or 5 inches. We'll see if anything materializes, as our neck o' the woods quite often ends up with one quarter of what's forecast.
