Signs of Spring
The first robin!
I had several kids tell me that they AND the husband had seen robins a coupla days ago but hey, they didn't tell me so I'm sorry, but it--just---doesn't---count.
Besides, I gots the picture. For all I know, the others coulda been makin' stuff up.
Anyway...I have proof that will hold up in a court of law.
The field runoffs this year are especially heavy, most of the snow having been there since early December.
Our county is among several in Iowa that have been under flash flood warnings now and again.
Ma is making extra efforts to not end up in the ditch.

And we had a large flock of geese fly over in formation earlier the evening. It all bodes well for the future, but I'm not going to get too excited until at least May. Less chance of disappointment that way.
And I was just reading yesterday that Green Bay had record snowfall this winter.
I think y'all need spring more than we do :-)
