In other news, Loren has taken in one car to get the recalled cruise control fixed, and tomorrow the other one goes in. He's still feeling rather punk, but getting up to do a coupla things each day. It's been one thing after another with him, and he's somewhat frustrated that it is taking so very long to feel better. I do think the worst is over....*crosses fingers*...

This is the crunch time of year. We still have school and yet the outdoor chores have started up. Ma's been busy with some mowing yesterday and a little digging in the garden this afternoon following the grocery shopping.

It certainly will be nice when school is over!

Speaking of which, Kendra comes home this weekend:-) Just in time for Derek's 17th birthday. Wow, everyone is getting so old.

Not me, of course. I remain ageless and youthful, yet have gained the wisdom of almost fifty years, retaining my wits all the while.

Well, except for those blank-outs in front of the kitchen cupboards, those sore muscles from digging and that time I left laundry in the washer for two days.
