Tim-ber !

 
The Weikert menfolk came over unexpectedly this afternoon...to take down a coupla trees.

Here goes "Summer Tree"
It's an ash that was dying off more each year. Caleb's going to use it for his wood burning stove.

Down goes "Swing Tree"
This pine has been hit by lightning several times. The dead top fell off during last winter's ice storm. Dean can use this wood nicely for his wood burner.

Everything worked out quite copasetically, concerning distribution of wood stuffs.

Not much time to post more. I plan to have a Picasa album up soon, though I doubt anyone but our kids will be terribly interested.

That's enough excitement for one day :-)
