Today's Accomplishments

4:30 Woke up

5:30 Couldn't take it any more, got up and snuck downstairs...harder than you think when the steps creak and you're 15 pounds overweight.

6:00-7:15 Read through Old Yeller for the first time in my life.

With the exception of one small back ordered item and one more possible book, all of my school supplies have arrived for next fall :-D

Just this morning the phonics workbook and cassette tape arrived that was ordered only last Wednesday. Pretty good service since it came by media mail from Oregon.

The very same voice that helped Ardith and Sharon learn to read came wafting out over the speakers, taking me back 21 years. It had dated pictures, even then...

Wish I weighed what I did 21 years ago. But at least I feel tired and old and have these really great varicose veins to show for it all.
