I neglected to mention that last week, Derek received the BIG envelope from LeTourneau, saying he has been accepted :-)
To-DAY, he got a smaller envelope....announcing he's been awarded a Presidential Scholarship! And that's not all, he has an invite to participate in Heritage Weekend in February where he can try for more scholarship money!!
Ma is very happy.

It's more a matter of being familiar with it, having relatives nearby, and the decent placement rate from Let.
