I WIN
From the "It takes so little to make me happy," category:
Several weeks ago I was looking for warm socks to wear with my comfy shoes from Goodwill. Since most of my dark socks were thinning or hole-ish, I naturally starting pawing through Loren's sock drawer.
Lo and BEHOLD, I found some newish footwarmers, of a brown hue, just PERFECT for my needs.
I took them.
Later, I casually mentioned to the husband, "Oh by the way, I've been 'borrowing' your brown socks. They go perfectly with these shoes I have..."
"What brown socks? I don't have any brown socks....I've never bought any brown socks in that style."
I looked down at my hands and what did I see, but dark blue socks. Immediately I changed the subject and started questioning my sanity.
Then, THEN TODAY, I was folding clothes out of the dryer, and what did my eyes perceive?
Socks. BROWN socks.
These are now my socks. After all, Loren never bought brown socks, right?
Yep. These are definitely mine.
