Report Time
Well, more happenings have been ahappenin' and that means more reports.
The Kendra Report: Kendra found a ride home for today, though they will have to drop a couple girls off at the Chicago airport. After they get to eastern IA, Paige's parents will collect Kendra and Paige and bring them up to Parkersburg, where Loren will do the honors, since I'll be heavily involved in...
The FUN Report: Ma is drivin' down to Cedar Rapids this afternoon for a short but wonderful whin-dig with el daughtero. Friends and food from the Irish Democrat were mentioned. I can't believe I'll be among real live people, all of whom do not need supervision. Yes, we're talkin' ADULTS !
The Slipper Report: No, Wal*Mart has still not seen fit to put my slippers on sale. It's their loss. I hope this won't break their sales report for next quarter, though if it does, they have only themselves to blame.
The Long Road Back to Ma Report: The weigh-in this morning showed a slight increase, but I'm not gonna let that get me down. Refer back to 2nd point, above.
The Chocolate Report: It is with heavy heart that Ma has made the decision to eat slum-dog chocolate for a while. As in, Hershey's Special Dark. It may be dark, but it's not all that special. However, it is significantly cheaper than Dove's or Hershey's Bliss, so I'm doing my part in cutting back for the family finances, yet not completely abandoning the American economy at the same time.
That is all.
Go out and make it a choco-riffic day.

And I took your advice, went out and bought chocolate today. :)
I would just like to note that insofar as I was in attendance at dinner, the statement "all of whom do not need supervision" is patently false. Perhaps most of whom would work.
You're just mad because I had to smack you.
I'm pretty sure I have witnesses who will note that I intentionally provoked it and sat idly by awaiting the incoming smack from your arthritic hand.
