Brilliant Idea
I don't know why no one has thought of this earlier. It came to me as I was setting all the downstairs clocks ahead and realizing I won't be able to watch all of The Red Green Show and thinking happy thoughts about how more people have heart attacks when the time goes forward 'cause they miss sleep.
Why not take a month and move the time ahead in quarter hour increments? We simply set our clocks 15 minutes forward, four weeks in a row.
Would that be so hard?
WOULD IT KILL *"THEM"?
No, but we kill people NOW doing a whole hour in one night/day.
We can't smoke in public, drive drunk or forget to put little Johnny in an approved child car seat.
But we can alter the time/space continuum and your heart rhythm at the same time.
(well anyways...it was just a thought)
Continuing on my theme of morbidity, here's a picture I got at a small cemetery, down the road from Prairie Bridges Park.
It is two gravestones, caught in a church-like stance.
I'm not sure what it means, but it has to be profound.
I think *they would approve.

My take on the daylight savings thing is that, if we must do it (and really, I think it's silly that we do it at all, but whatever), we might as well just get it all done in one go like ripping off a bandaid. But personally, I think we should just get rid of daylight savings altogether
I heartily agree with you there.
