Concerning Unusual Attachments to the Diptera Order
The Scene: The dining room, shortly before supper. The table is being set by assorted children when a large fly is observed, landing audaciously on the clean plates...
Ethan: "Get him! We have to kill that fly!"
Trevor: "No wait....don't kill him !"
Ethan: "WHY----NOT?"
Trevor: "Because he's my pet!"
Ethan: "You can't have a pet fly...if you have a pet, it's gotta have a name. What's it's name?"
*brief pause*
Trevor: "Foo-foo."
*pandemonium*

We had a cat named that. I think it was supposed to be "frou-frou" but it never was. This same cat is also named "kitty" and "white kitty."
Way to save a fly, Trevor! Do we know what happened to Foo-foo the fly?
Thainamu: I think "white kitty" is so much more dignified.
Sharon: I regret to inform people that Trevor did give permission for the large and lovely Foo-Foo to get whacked. Which it did.
In short, Foo-Foo is no more.
