Out Ioway

My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of Heaven and earth,
He will not let your foot slip-
He who watches over you will not slumber.

Remedial Action

Isn't it funny...

...how supper can be on time if one is planning it around a play-off game? Remedy: schedule major sports events at the dinner hour.

...how condescension can cause your stomach to knot up? Remedy: be firm. Sometimes being nice is just asking for more.

...how kids can play badminton outside in the dark, but they can barely keep their eyes on their school books, during the day? Remedy: pray for rain.

...children are suddenly full when there is broccoli on their plate, and yet they still ask for their cookie dessert? Remedy: make cookies out of broccoli.

...when the Internet goes down right after the husband leaves on a 4-day trip? Remedy: blame it on a conspiracy theory. That won't fix it, but it will give you something to research, once you're back online.

...that so many people hate the Yankees? Remedy: Christians should never "follow the crowd." Soooooo,

Go Yankees !

Condescension and being nice are the same thing? Or am I just misreading that?

Broccoli cookies... that's a leap even for me... maybe if you make 'em cheesy biscuit cookies!

I meant that trying to be extra polite when someone's been condescending to you, doesn't always work, but can invite more condescension.

Sorry for the non-clarity.
